Jamshedpur, February 6, 2026:
Placing a transformative focus on youth empowerment and spiritual education, the Shri Jagannath Spiritual & Cultural Charitable Centre Trust today announced that the Spiritual Centre will be the cornerstone of its upcoming landmark project.
Mr. S.K. Behera, Managing Trustee and Vice Chairman of RSB Global, confirmed that the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, will perform the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ and lay the foundation stone for the complex on February 26, 2026.
Dedicated Leadership and Coordination
The Trust highlighted the tireless efforts of the core team driving this project forward. Key personalities, including Mr. Manoranjan Dash, Mr. Abanish Mishra, Mr. P. R. Dash, and Mr. Shridhar Pradhan along with other members are working constantly to make the event successful. Their dedication is vital in managing the large-scale logistics, community outreach, and spiritual protocols required for a ceremony of this magnitude.
A Collaborative Community Effort
In a spirit of inclusivity and unity, the Shri Jagannath Spiritual & Cultural Charitable Centre Trust is actively engaging with the broader community. Various social, educational, and spiritual organisations are being invited to participate in this historic event. The Trust is seeking their formal support and collaboration to ensure the centre serves as a collective pillar of strength and wisdom for the entire region.
The Core Vision: A Spiritual Centre for the Youth
The Trust has envisioned this project as more than just a place of worship; it is designed to be a sanctuary for the mind and spirit, specifically tailored for the younger generation.
> “Our vision transcends traditional worship. We aim to foster the holistic personality development of today’s youth and those pursuing higher education,” stated Mr. S.K. Behera. “While the final temple structure will take approximately four years to complete, the Trust has prioritized the Spiritual Centre so that it can be functional much earlier. It will serve as a hub for research scholars and students to explore spiritual sciences and cultural heritage, providing a moral and intellectual foundation for their future.”

A Landmark Temple Built on Divine Grace
Following the establishment of the Spiritual Centre, the magnificent Shri Jagannath Temple will stand as the architectural crown of the complex.
* Architectural Marvel: Spread across 2.5 acres, the temple will be constructed entirely of stone, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship and traditional temple architecture.
* Regional Hub: The temple is set to become a premier pilgrimage site for devotees from Jharkhand, Bihar, Bengal, and Odisha, significantly boosting religious tourism in the region.
* Ongoing Progress: Construction is currently underway in full swing to ensure the timely completion of the Spiritual Centre and the temple sanctum.
A Journey from Struggle to Sanctity
Reflecting on the historical significance of the site, Mr. Behera shared:
> “The roots of this project go back to the time when Hon’ble Smt. Droupadi Murmu was the Governor of Jharkhand; it was during her tenure that this land was originally allotted. We faced significant hurdles, particularly regarding land encroachments and legal complexities. To see this ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ finally happening, by the grace of Mahaprabhu, is an emotional and historic moment for us all.”
