Safari Royals and Little Flower School Crowned Champions
The 77th Tata Motors Annual Athletics Meet 2025–26 concluded successfully on 1 February 2026 at Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium, Telco. The winners were felicitated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Sunil Tiwari, Head – Jamshedpur Plant, Tata Motors Limited, along with the Guest of Honour, Mr. Pranav Kumar, General Manager – Human Resources, Tata Motors Limited, in the presence of senior dignitaries and officials.
In the team championships, Safari Royals emerged as champions in the Women’s category, while Tata Cummins secured the title in the Men’s category. In the School category, Little Flower School was declared the Athletic Champion.
In the Corporate Relay, Tata Steel clinched the championship, while the Tata Motors team won the Tug of War event.
Individual excellence was also celebrated at the meet. Mr. Akash Chalak of Safari Royals was declared the Best Athlete (Men), and Ms. Anupama Kumari of Indigo Fighters was awarded the Best Athlete (Women) title.
The event was graced by several senior dignitaries, including Mr. Prakash Kumar Sinha, GM – Heat Treatment; Mr. Subhashis Das, GM – Transmission; Mr. Golam Mondal, GM – CCE; Mr. V. N. Singh, Head – Administration & Security; Mr. Rajat Singh, Head – Town Administration; Mr. R. K. Singh, General Secretary; and Mr. Shashi Bhushan Prasad, President – Tata Motors Workers’ Union.
Also present were Sister Hilda, Principal – Little Flower School, Mrs. Meena Wilkhu, Principal – Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya, along with other senior dignitaries and union officials.
